Traces of Self

When a space is shrouded in light everything is straightforward, but when night falls it transforms into something entirely new; a place of illusions and reflections. For this series, all these photos were taken in darkness with profoundly long exposure times to capture the light that goes unseen. When the shot is all set up, as the photographer, my eye still does not see what my camera does, making the process heavily reliant on trial and error. There is an obvious concentration put on windows, doors, and other passageways as a means to communicate this idea of transporting from one place to the next.
